Volunteers Build a New Playground In Just One Day
What a difference a day makes! On March 22, 2007, more than 200 volunteers from The Home Depot and the community joined forces to build a stat-of-the-art ne KaBOOM! playground in just one day at the Children’s Harbor campus. This project was part of a Home Depot national initiative to build 1,000 play spaces in 1,000 days. The playground’s design was based on drawings by foster children that live on the campus.
